Our story;
Fabrizio & Roberto have been in hospitality for over 40 years where they used to have a pizzeria in Italy years ago. They came to the uk to bring culinary tradition & authentic flavours through Italian food.
Now, in the newly built town on Marleigh Fabrizio & Roberto have passed this passion through their children. Salento's Marleigh will bring the essence of Italy to your table with a rich culinary heritage passed down generations. Their passion for authentic Italian cuisine shines through every dish they present. From their classic homemade pasta dishes to the Scrocciarella pizzas! Marco De Simone - Chef
Chef Marco started working out as a pizzaiolo in his Uncle’s pizzeria when he was just 14 years old. Where in Vico Equense (NAPLES) after school, instead of going home, he stopped by his Uncle’s pizzeria where he learned the art and love for homemade bread & dough.
Marco moved to Cambridge in 2017 where he started his experiences as a pizzaiolo in different pizzeria’s, as his dough grew.. Marco was growing alongside making a name for himself as one of the best pizza chef’s in the Italian Cambridge community.
Now, alongside his Fiancé Cheyenne, as they join forces, they intend to make Salento Marleigh one of the best places to enjoy an authentic pizza with fresh ingredients making it feel like you are always in Italy!
